Providing Education to Impoverished children of India
One of the most important lessons I have learned through my spiritual journey is the power of philanthropy. Through giving back to others, your community, and the world you have the power to make real change to impact other’s lives for the better.
Giving back, in whatever form you are able, opens you up to the vibrations of giving and receiving. Not only will you be making a powerful change in other’s lives, allowing them to live more comfortably and peacefully, but you will open yourself up to more opportunities to receive from the Universe as well.
Personally, my heart is pulled towards children in need. This is why I have partnered with Mother Miracle, an organization devoted to educating impoverished children in India. I currently sponsor two girls from the school where they focus on becoming leaders in this digital age. Not only do they receive a computer and academic education but also benefit from healthcare, school meals, school materials, and access to all extra-curricular activities including yoga, meditation, karate, art, music, and dance.
Mother Miracle is all about breaking the cycle of poverty by empowering their students with the skills they need in this digital age. As a non-profit organization in the United States and India, they enable children from the slums of India to reach their highest potential by providing free k12 education in English, as well as providing the nutrition and healthcare, and extra-curricular activities needed to succeed. The objective is to set these students up with the skillets they need to support their families, give back to the school and community, and set them up for success.
